ERS/Ellen Rader Smith offers Occupational Therapy expert witness services that help attorneys to document clients’ functional limitations with respect to personal, home and occupational duties. This helps in the documentation of damages, as ERS clearly illustrates what a person with a hand, cervical or lumbar spine, or other musculoskeletal injury can or can’t do, or how he/she has had to learn to function with these limitations.
Employability is a key barometer assessed by ERS. Other ERS services include Standard of Care file reviews when clients have been affected by OT treatment that deviates from an accepted standard of care and in assessing injury causality from an ergonomic perspective.
Ellen Rader Smith is the owner of ERS, a licensed Occupational Therapist, Certified Vocational Evaluator and Certified Professional Ergonomist. She has over 30 years experience in the field and has worked in capacity of expert witness for the past 20 years.
