For over 20 years, Catherine Kane has worked in the court reporting arena providing the legal community with the necessary tools to help with their litigation. She is an active participant in updating existing services and creating new ones that she believes benefits both small and large firms.
She also manages and oversees the daily activities at Rosenberg & Associates, Inc. and its affiliate offices, and coordinates seminars and tradeshows and continuing education courses for court reporters, paralegals and attorneys.
Ms. Kane is a member of the Society for the Technological Advancement of Reporting and the National Court Reporters Association. She is an AOC Certified Transcriptionist/Manager and a Federal Certified Transcriptionist. She is also a certified CLSP LiveNote Trainer and a Reseller of LiveNote and RealLegal products. She is also an active member of the Legal Vendors Network and currently Vice President of Membership for the network.
Ms. Kane is also an active participant and member of the Newark Regional Business Partnership and works with the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and the Women’s President’s Educational Organization – New York Chapter.
Among the “high-profile” cases Ms. Kane has worked on are the Exxon Valdez, Global Landfill vs. 280 Development, NJDEP vs. American Thermoplastics, Verni vs. Aramark, and numerous and well-publicized NJ Casino Control Commission licensure hearings and special hearings, and New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement investigations.
